LARGEST FACILITY
Engineering-first approach
Sverit was established in 2014 to commercialise the ISBS technology developed through decades of bioengineering research.
International Consortium
Together with Applied Chemistry (HK) Ltd., Sverit is a key partner in an International Consortium focused on growing ISBS technology adoption globally.
The consortium maintains strategic cooperation with Shandong Industrial Research Ecological Environment Research Institute Co., Ltd. since 2019 and China Railway Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd. for deployment in the Chinese market.
Technology highlights
- Engineered microbial ecosystems replace conventional suspended-biomass control.
- Immobilized biofilms stabilize bacterial populations and increase treatment density.
- Sequential biological zones deliver predictable, deterministic process steps.
Largest facility to date
- 40,000 m³/day capacity, commissioned in two stages of 20,000 m³/day each.
- Compliant with China Class 1A (GB 18918-2002): stricter than EU urban wastewater norms.
- Mixed municipal and industrial influent, treated to a consistent effluent quality.
Proven at scale
Patents
The ISBS platform is protected by patents registered in Israel and China, with international PCT coverage.
